Time limit

The clock starts the moment the test begins and runs continuously — it can't be paused once started.

Auto-submit when time runs out. If left unchecked, the test stays open after time expires but the clock will show 00:00 and you'll still need to use end test yourself.
What "exam mode" actually does A browser can't control your phone or laptop's system-level do-not-disturb, lock screen, or notifications — no website can. What this does instead: locks the page to full screen, blocks right-click/copy/print/devtools shortcuts, and flags it if you switch tabs, exit full screen, or try to leave the page. For real silence, turn on your device's do-not-disturb yourself before you begin.
